A quick mountain outing to escape the heatwave once again. I met up with a few club members at the Col du Joly (2,000m), facing Mont Blanc. Conditions were rather light, with some nice thermals but also significant areas of sinking air that sometimes required using the motor to regain altitude. Naturally, the photo session focused on Mont Blanc, involving passes behind the slope to capture Europe's highest peak in the background.
