Eurotour is over for me !
2009 was the year I could be finally in the ranking with 3 results, but after a very good start in Laurac and La Muela, I have been unluky at Caussols and the Welsh Open so couldn't get lot of points. I'm currently 5th but will probably finish below after RĂ¼gen :(
Let's see what will be 2010.

Minitoons and VTPR
I found on my harddisk a video I made in 2005 when I was in Britanny. I enjoyed flying on the coast with my Minitoons, an EPP aerobatic sloper. This plane was excellent to fly VTPR without the fear to crash.
Enjoy :)

Glider Color Scheme contest on RCgroups
RCRCM, a chinese manufacturer organized a Color scheme contest on RCgroups. The goal is to propose an attractive and easy to reproduce color scheme for the new F3F plane from RCRCM, the Strega.
More info here: RCgroups thread
I participated to this contest and proposed a design inspired from my favorite "bubble design" I used on my Freestyler, Extreme, Wasabi, Beevolution, Vector DS.
The concept is to have a single design where you can change the color combination.
The entries are closed now, and vote started.
So if you have a login on RCgroups and if you like my design and want to support it, then please vote for me :)
The poll thread is here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1106328
Unfortunately, the organiser splitted my entry into 4 entries (one per color combination) :( ...
To avoid dispersion of the votes, please vote for the first one called "Pierre Rondel 1"
Many thanks in advance !

New French F3F League victory !
The F3F season in not yet finished (2 more contests to come), but I'm already the league winner with 4000 pts over 4000 pts (The french league ranking is based on the 4th best results of each pilot).
I won the F3F league 8 times since the league exists (year 2000) and this is the 5th victory in a row :) !
2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009
I'm happy :)

F3F at le col du glandon
Last week-end was the F3F contest organized by our club. this contest has been the first F3F contest in France, in 1994, so this year was the 15th edition !
The scenery on this slope is absolutely amazing as you fly with the Mont-Blanc in the background.
On Saturday, the condition were great, but Cold: 3 degrees in the morning when arriving on the slope, and 10 degrees at the maximum. The wind was blowing between 6 and 8 m/s on the north slope. We managed 5 rounds with 39 Pilots: I won rounds 1 and 3, finished 1st at the end of the day, with Alexis at 12 points of me over 4000 pts !!!
Sunday was a calm day and we tried hard to complete at least one round, but the god Eole was not very cooperative, so we had to declare the day off and stay on Saturday results.
The Martinet flew very well with the new CG at 109 mm: Excellent energy retention, and speed in straight line, no stall despite the high altitude (2000m).
In addition I received a vey nice prize from Frank Cornu: a 2.5 " hardened SSD, 80 Go hard disk from Intel. Many thanks Frank !
